Cookie Policy

Last updated: 7 September 2026

Short answer: this site does not use tracking cookies, and it stores nothing on your device until you tell it to. There is no “accept everything or leave” wall here, and rejecting costs you nothing.

Nothing loads before you choose

Until you press Accept or Reject, this site loads nothing from any other company and writes nothing to your device. The typeface is served from our own domain rather than a font service, there are no embedded videos or social widgets, and the analytics script is not fetched at all.

What may be stored

NameTypeSet byPurposeLasts
cr-consentLocal storage (not a cookie)This siteRemembers whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics, so you are not asked on every pageUntil you clear your browser data or press “Cookie settings”
__cf_bmStrictly necessary cookieCloudflareMay be set to tell human visitors apart from automated bots and keep the site availableUp to 30 minutes

Both are exempt from the consent requirement: one exists purely to record the choice you made, the other is a security measure without which the site could not be delivered safely. Neither is used for advertising and neither follows you to other websites.

Optional analytics — only if you accept

If you press Accept, we load Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views and records the referring page and general country so we know whether anyone is actually reading this. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and cannot follow you to other sites. There is no advertising use and the data is not sold or shared.

If you press Reject, that script is never fetched. The site looks and behaves exactly the same.

Changing your mind

Press Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. That clears your stored choice and asks again. Clearing your browser data has the same effect.

Third-party content

The YouTube and Instagram buttons are plain links, not embedded players or feeds. Nothing is loaded from those companies while you are on this site and they are not told that you visited. If you click through, their own cookie and privacy policies take over.

The legal bit

Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and the EU ePrivacy Directive, storing or reading anything on your device requires your consent unless it is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for. We ask before anything non-essential loads, we make refusing as easy as accepting, and we treat no answer as a refusal.
